The Big Bad Wolf of BASS
Having watched Marcus Miller play and listened to his records, he is definitely the "baddest" mofo to ever play the bass after my other fav Nathan East.

The Legendary Scene from Breakdance The Movie(1984)
MJ performed his legendary moonwalk at the Motown 25th Anniversary in 1983 but the one that took it to the next level and making it a legendary scene to all breakers is the scene from Breakin' the Movie. Who would imagine the soundtrack to be from Kraftwerk. Check it:
The real funk of Bar-Kays
Been too busy to update this blog and I have not paid much attention to it, so I decided to use this blog to share my favourite music and musical influence as another dimension to this element. If you are ready...........here we go!
The funky vibes of Bar-Kays showed the 80s keyboard funk wizardry. It became very much a part of the breakdance scene. Still one of my favourites.

BK STUDIO.........Now we're rockin' n eatin' in style.

Basically BK Studio started in the U.S n SG is the first outside of the U.S. BK Studio aims to be part art gallery, part think-tank with a dash of mad scientist's experiments thrown in for a good measure. You can tell for sure its different, and the vibe is uber-cool.
It reeks of designer chic. The booths are the first of its kind here-docked with an ipod docking station so you can have personalised music at your booth to share with your friends. There is a cool speaker system that pipes music down to your booth creating a unique experience. Now the food here still serves the usual BK fare but includes new stuff like salads, desserts, gourmet coffee and even my fave Affogato but its called BK Espresso Sundae. I understand there will be more exciting food added to the menu when the mad food scientist decides to kick it up one notch with his BK food experiment for the Singapore public.
Next is the custom t-shirt kiosk which lets you choose motifs, graphics and custom make it into a t-shirt in 20 mins. The 5 designs from the local heroes are also available for purchase. So a super uber cool BK joint with designer fittings, a souped up menu and a custom t-shirt kiosk lets you have a full lifestyle experience that is gonna be the signature concept of Burger King Studio. Head on down to Ion Orchard B3 and experience it, am sure you will love it !
